Meter Number

Your meter number is unique to your World Options account; it’s used to direct your bookings to the correct account.

API URL

The API URL links your website shopping cart to World Options Portal web services

Residential

The residential tick box is used for couriers that charge a residential delivery fee for homes or business not open to the public, this charge is automatically ticked however if your company sends a large portion of products to business addresses speak to your account manager and they will deselect the option. Please note that you will be responsible for payment if the residential fees are applied. These will be added to your weekly invoice. 

Enhanced Cover (£)

Enhanced cover starts at £0.05 for cover up to £5.00, simply select the amount of cover required and it will automatically be added to the total displayed to the customer. The maximum cover for e-commerce shipments  is £20.00 for £2000 cover.

Include Additional Cost DOM.

This will allow a fixed or percentage amount to be added to domestic shipments

Include Additional Cost Int.

This will allow a fixed or percentage amount to be added to international shipments

Free/ Reduced Shipping Domestic

This will allow you to offer free or reduced domestic shipping on your website. World Options Portal will calculate the cheapest courier option and change the price to £0.00 or reduce it by an entered percentage. This will be displayed along side the other faster services. Please be aware that your account will still be charged with the full amount of the shipment cost. Please select a value greater than £1.00

Free/Reduced Shipping International

This will allow you to offer free or reduced international shipping on your website. If selected the World Options Portal will calculate the cheapest courier option for that country and change the price to £0.00 or reduce it by a set percentage. This will be displayed along side the other faster services. Please be aware that your account will still be charged with the full amount of the shipment cost. Offering free international shipments should be approached with care, even though World Options offer great international prices, international shipments can wipe out all margin on low value items.
